C-Cubed absorbs Source One Communications

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved the plan of Customer Contact Center Inc. (C-Cubed) to absorb its wholly-owned unit Source One Communications Asia Inc. (SOCA).
C-Cubed is one of the biggest and fastest growing companies that provide outsourced contact center services to leading companies in North America. It is the first and only ISO:9001-2000 and BS7799 -certified call center operator in the Philippines
The merger is expected to result in the consolidation of resources, economy of scale and efficiency in management and operations.
As of end-September 2005, C-Cubed had total assets of P510.58 million while SOCA had P293.79 million in assets.
C-Cubed remains aggressive in providing world-class customer service to its North American and local clients.
It also supported projects for local companies such as the Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) and offices of multinational firms including Pilipinas Shell, HSBC, and AIG-Philam.
C-Cubed currently operates two call centers in Metro Manila, providing customer support 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Its main facility is located in Eastwood City, Libis.
The company will install a virtual university in tandem with major IT (information technology) institutions. The university will serve as a formal vehicle to extensively train agents on customer service and e-commerce.
