Legaspi said he was particularly specific about the role Manels would play in their quest to be globally competitive.
Manels is celebrating its 40th year as the leading distributor of high quality leather products and has been awarded as the 2001 Outstanding Filipino Retailer by the Philippine Retailers Association and the Department of Trade and Industry.

"With a superb line of products and a clear-cut leverage marketing system, IPIC will surely give Filipinos a total quality lifestyle through direct marketing as an innovative means of honest wealth-building experience," Legaspi explained.
