Fortune magazine cites Merck & Co

Global research-based pharmaceutical company Merck & Co., Inc., which operates outside of the United States as Merck Sharp & Dohme (MSD), recently made it to Fortune magazines list of "Blue Ribbon Companies" a recognition bestowed on companies that have made five or more of Fortunes lists throughout the year.
This year, Merck was named to the following Fortune lists: Fortune 500; 100 Best Companies to Work For; Global 500; Americas Most Admired Companies; Worlds Most Admired Companies; and MBAs Top 50 Employers.
In the Philippines, MSD has been helping improve the health and well-being of Filipinos by providing Filipino patient with breakthrough medicines, disease information, innovative services and health management programs.
MSD also offers service programs for the medical community and patients to increase the level of awareness on advances in healthcare. These include medical training programs, scientific fora, resource centers, and patient care programs. Its nationwide network of MSD Resource Centers (MRC), for example, respond to the need for continuing medical education by offering modern facilities with the latest medical database, internet access, and audiovisual facilities.
Worldwide, Merck is also known for its corporate contributions program which provide funding directly to qualified organizations and selected programs that serve the needs of society, in line with the companys business and philanthropic goals to advance scientific knowledge and education and improve the health and well-being of people worldwide.
