Globe offers cashless call card purchases

Globe Handyphone, the cellular phone service of Globe Telecom, is now offering its Globe Handyphone Prepaid Plus subscribers the convenience of being able to buy call card credits for their prepaid accounts using BPI Express Teller’s express payment system (EPS).

Another service innovation by Globe, purchasing call cards through BPI EPS is an alternative and easy way to get prepaid credits aside from buying the plastic Globe Prepaid Plus call cards.

The BPI EPS facility allows Globe handyphone prepaid subscribers with BPI Express Teller cards to purchase call card credits without using cash by charging the purchase from their BPI accounts. BPI cardholders using the service can be able to purchase call card credits of P250, P500 and P1,000 through BPI EPS.

In order to reload their prepaid accounts using BPI EPS, Globe Handyphone Prepaid Plus subscribers can drop by any Globe Telecom business center in Metro Manila. The subscribers only have to inform the cashier of the call card value they wish to purchase and encode their ATM PINs after their BPI cards are swiped.

After the transaction is completed, the BPI EPS facility will print for the subscriber a "secure print" receipt containing a card number and PIN. The subscriber then only needs to open the "secure print" receipt, dial Globe’s ‘223’ reload service number and key in the new card number and PIN to finish reloading.

In offering BPI Express Teller’s Express Payment System to its prepaid cellular subscribers, Globe Telecom has deployed BPI EPS facilities in Globe business centers all over Metro Manila (except UN). It will soon be available in all Globe Telecom business centers, other telecom shops, dealers and consumer outlets nationwide. Globe Telecom business centers found in shopping malls are open all week from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., while non-mall Globe centers are open Mondays to Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
