SB19 trades mic for hoop action at NBA Celebrity Showcase
MANILA, Philippines – P-pop group SB19’s got game as the quintet showed they can dribble and shoot balls at Saturday’s NBA House Celebrity Showcase.
Pablo, Josh, Stell, Justin and Ken were on the opposing sides at the celebrity exhibition match held at SPACE, One Ayala in Makati City on August 29.
Pablo and Stell wore blue jerseys playing for the New Jersey Nets and Dallas Mavericks iconic guard Jason Kidd.
Their teammates include Elijah Canlas, Khalil Ramos, Rave Victoria, Jeremiah Lisbo and star student-athlete Christiana Dimaunahan.
The three other SB19 members, Josh, Ken and Justin, suited the white jerseys under Sacramento Kings legend Tony Parker.
They were joined by Juancho Trivino, RK Bagatsing, national women’s team member Trina Guytingco, and “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition” housemates River Joseph and Ralph de Leon.
Kidd and Parker were in town for the inaugural NBA House Celebrity Showcase in the country.
Apart from playing on the court, SB19 also performed some of their songs.
Tony Parker’s team won the exhibition match, 97-76.
