Abrahano takes over as acting NCRPO chief

MANILA, Philippines — The National Capital Region Police Office has a new officer-in-charge in the person of Brig. Gen. Christopher Abrahano, who replaced Maj. Gen. Anthony Aberin as NCRPO chief.
Abrahano previously headed the Police Regional Office in Northern Mindanao.
Abrahano formally assumed the post yesterday, according to a Philippine National Police (PNP) memorandum.
Aberin has reached the mandatory retirement age of 56.
Abrahano, a member of the PNP Academy Class of 1996, vowed “fast police service that is felt by the people.”
Before taking over the NCRPO, Abrahano briefly headed the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group.
