Pangulong Marcos nasa Russia
MANILA, Philippines — Dumating na sa Kazan, Russia si Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. para sa bilateral meeting kay Russian President Vladimir Putin bago ang Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit-Russia Commemorative Summit.
“It will be my first time on Russian soil - a journey I undertake nearly 50 years after my father, President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. made his own historic visit to the then Soviet Union in 1976, which culminated in the establishment of diplomatic relations between our two countries,” pahayag ni Marcos.
Nakatutok aniya sa pag-uusap nila sa gagawing summit ang tungkol sa pangkapayapaang kooperasyon at seguridad, trade and investment, food and energy security, science and technology, digital transformation, education, tourism at people to people exchange.
“This year, the Philippines and Russia commemorate 50 years of diplomatic relations,” pahayag pa ni Marcos.
Itinalaga naman ni Pangulong Marcos bilang caretaker ng bansa sina Executive Secretary Ralph Recto, Agrarian Reform Sec. Conrado Estrella at Labor Sec. Francis Tolentino.
