‘Kudeta Me’ inilutang vs Pangulong Marcos

MANILA, Philippines — Dinedma ni Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. ang panibagong isyu na kumakalat sa social media na mayroon umanong “3rd Force” na nagpaplanong magkudeta upang pabagsakin ang administrasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

Kasabay nito, hinamon ni Teodoro ang mga nagpapakalat ng umano’y tsismis na maghain ng pormal na reklamo kung may mga ebidensya ang mga ito sa sinasabing nilulutong panibagong coup plot laban sa administrasyon ni PBBM.

“Wala, alam ninyo as responsible citizens, why don’t they execute the proper affidavit and file it with the law enforcement and prosecutorial law officials so it can be investigated properly? Kung meron talagang ebidensya,” saad ni Teodoro.

Tugon ito ni Teodoro sa pahayag ni retired Philippine Air Force (PAF) Chief Major General Romeo Poquiz na nagpaplano umano ang “Third Force” ng “Kudeta Me” plot. Si Poquiz ang convener ng United People’s Initiative (UPI), isang grupo ng mga retiradong opisyal ng militar na nanawagan ng pagbaba sa puwesto ni Pangulong Marcos sa gitna na rin ng maanomalyang flood control projects.

“The AFP remains focused on its constitutional mandate and the faithful performance of its duty as protector of the people and the State,” anang AFP.

“At a time when our nation must remain united in addressing the possible effects of the ongoing crisis in the Middle East, we call on all Filipinos to exercise sobriety, reject disinformation, and refrain from spreading unverified claims that may cause confusion and division,”  dagdag pa ng AFP.
