P10 bilyong tinapyas sa DepEd, ibabalik — Pangulong Marcos
MANILA, Philippines — Siniguro ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na ibabalik ang P10 bilyon tinapyas na pondo sa Department of Education (DepEd).
Sa ambush interview sa Malakanyang sinabi ng Pangulo na hahanapan niya ng paraan para mapondohan ang DepEd.
“On the subject of the DepEd, we are still looking into it. I think it is contrary to all our policy direction when we talk about the STEM development of our educational sector and then the continuing development,” sabi ni Marcos.
Paliwanag pa ng Pangulo na ang nawala na P10 bilyon ay mula sa computerization item kaya inaayos na nila para masiguro na maibabalik ito.
“Because ‘yung nawala na P10 billion comes from the computerization item. So we’re working on it to make sure that we will restore it. I do not want to line item veto anything because that just gets in the way. So we’re still talking about it and trying to find a way,” ayon pa sa Pangulo.
Hindi naman tinukoy ni Pangulong Marcos kung saan kukuha ng pondo para sa DepEd.
