Sa ‘Designated Survivor’ comment

MANILA, Philippines — Pakitang tao lang umano ang ipinakikitang pakikisama ni Vice President Sara Duterte kay Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

Ito ang duda ni Deputy Speaker at Quezon 2ndDistrict Rep. David “Jay-jay” Suarez matapos sabihin ni VP Sara na hindi siya dadalo sa darating na State of the Nation Address (SONA) ni Pangulong Marcos sa Hulyo 22 dahil itinatalaga niya ang kaniyang sarili bilang “Designated Survivor”.

“Offhand, the VP’s statements are not what we expected from someone holding the second highest office in the land.

“It raises a critical question: What are the implications of such a statement for the safety and unity of our government leaders?”.

“Regardless of her intentions, her remark is a reminder of the importance of ensuring the security and safety of the President and other officials in the line of succession,” giit pa ni Suarez.
