Lisensiya ng baril ni Quiboloy, binawi na - PNP

MANILA, Philippines — Binawi na ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang gun permit ni Kingdom of Jesus Christ leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.

Ito ang sinabi ni PNP spokesperson PCol. Jean Fajardo matapos na aprubahan ni PNP chief Police General Rommel Marbil ang rekomendasyon ng  Firearms and Explosives Office na ipawalang-bisa ang license to own and possess firearms (LTOPF) ni Quiboloy.

“Wherefore, foregoing considered, the LTOPF and firearms registration of Apollo Carreon Quiboloy are hereby revoked. Further, next of kin, nearest relative or legal representative of Apollo C. Quiboloy or any other person is directed to deliver the same and the firearms shall be confiscated for proper disposition,” ani Fajardo.

Nauna nang inirekomenda ng Firearms and Explosives Office ng PNP ang pagbawi sa mga baril ni Quiboloy.

Binanggit nito ang Section 4 (g) ng Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act dahil na rin sa kinakaharap na mga kaso ng pastor.

Nakasaad sa Standards and Requisites for Issuance of and Obtaining a LTOPF na, “The applicant has not been convicted or is currently an accused in a pending criminal case before any court of law for a crime that is punishable with a penalty of more than two years.”

Dagdag pa ni Fajardo, ipatutupad na ng Firearms and Explosives Office (FEO) ang kautusan at bibigyan ng pagkakataon si Quiboloy ng anim na buwan upang isuko ang kanyang mga baril.

Kapag hindi isinuko ni Quiboloy ang mga baril, ituturing aniya ang mga baril na loose firearms.

“Kung hindi nila ito ibabalik dahil considered loose firearms na rin ito na because narevoke na yung registration at LTOPF, meaning ito ay mga considered na unregistered firearms under the purview ng definition ng loose firearms. So kapag hindi nila ito isinoli at Nakita ito sa possession ng sinuman ay maaari silang maharap sa kaso for illegal possession of firearms,” dagdag pa ni Fajardo.

Batay sa rekord ng FEO, 19 na baril ang naka-rehistro kay Pastor Quiboloy kung saan isa ang napaso ang lisensya noong Marso, ng taong kasalukuyan.
