“We, in the House of Representatives, strongly condemn the recent acts of China, which resulted in the collision of its coast guard vessel 5203 with the private resupply vessel of the Armed Forces of the Philippines,” ayon sa pahayag ni Romualdez.

“These actions not only endangered the lives of those aboard but also posed a threat to regional peace and stability,” dagdag pa sa pahayag.

“We urge China to respect international maritime laws and norms, exercise restraint, and ensure the safety of all vessels in the South China Sea,” ayon pa sa pahayag ni Romualdez.

“Such incidents must not be tolerated, and the Philippine government will try to seek the assistance  of the United Nations and other allied countries to deter this unlawful acts of its neighboring country, which is not only its trading partner but supposedly an ally as well,” ani Romualdez.
