Fiancé ni Laude irereklamo ng AFP

MANILA, Philippines -  Dahil sa pagpasok ng walang otorisasyon sa may off-limits area, sinabi ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) kahapon na susulat sila sa German Embassy at Bureau of Immigration hingil sa maling inasal ni Marc Suselbeck, ang boyfriend ng nasawing Pinoy transgender na si Jeffrey “Jennifer” Laude.

Ayon kay AFP spokesman Lt. Col. Harold Cabunoc, ang pagliham ay kaugnay sa insidente kamakalawa ng hapon kung saan pumasok ng pilit sa pamamagitan ng pag-akyat sa bakod si Suselbeck sa itinuturing na off-limits area, sa pasilidad ng Mutual Defense Board-Security Engagement Board, kung saan nakapiit si US Marine Pfc. Joseph Scott Pemberton.

Dahil sa kanyang ginawa, nilabag umano ni Suselbeck ang Presidential Decree No.1227, o ang law Punishing Unlawful Entry into Any Military Base ng Pilipinas. Inatake rin ni Suselbeck ang isang on-duty Pinoy soldier na nagbabantay sa nasabing pasilidad. Isinailalim na sa medical check-up sa Camp Aguinaldo Station Hospital ang sundalo.

“It is understood that any foreign nationals who visit the Philippines shall follow Philippine laws. The AFP will deal with the incident accordingly through proper channels,” pagdidiin ni Cabunoc.

Naniniwala naman ang Malacañang na may batayan para patawan ng disciplinary action ng In­tegrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) si Atty. Harry Roque, abogado ng pamilya Laude.

Ayon kay Communications Sec. Herminio Coloma Jr., nasa kamay ng IBP kung nararapat disiplinahin si Atty. Roque dahil sa inasal ng kanyang mga kliyente ng magpumilit pumasok sa restricted area na hinihinala nilang kinaroroonan ni Pemberton.
