Chinese aircraft hindi banta – PNoy
TAGBILARAN CITY , Philippines – Nilinaw ni Pangulong Aquino na walang dapat ikabahala ang taumbayan sa napaulat na mayroong Chinese aircraft carrier na nasa West Philippine Sea.
Sinabi ng Pangulo na hindi banta sa seguridad ng bansa ang nasabing ulat dahil una ay wala ito sa territorial waters ng West Philippine Sea kundi nasa High Seas.
Ayon sa Pangulo, inaÂmin din naman ng China na hindi pa ito operational at nagsasagawa lamang ng pagsasanay sa carrier operations.
Inihayag ni PNoy na maituturing itong innocent passage kaya hindi dapat palakihin o ikaalarma.
“Let’s not play it up. I think the Chinese themselves have admitted that this is a... They are not yet fully operational eh. Is it two or three years ba before they believe that they will be fully operational. Ibig sabihin ‘non, they’re learning carrier operations, both the crews onboard the planes and also the pilots who will be flying the planes. So they are transitting here, dahil hindi pa sila operational, why should anybody consider it a threat?†dagdag pa ni Aquino.
