RC Malate charter president, bagong RI-D3810 governor

MANILA, Philippines - Ipinagmamalaki ng Rotary Club of Malate ang ka­nilang charter president na si Atty. Tranquil Salvador III matapos na maluklok bilang bagong governor ng Rotary International District 3810 na binubuo ng may mahigit 90 rotary clubs na nakabase sa Metro Manila at ilang mga kalapit na lalawigan.

Ayon kay RC Malate IPP at Incoming District Secretary Mercy Ong, ang hand­over at oathtaking ceremonies bilang tanda ng pormal na pamumuno ni Salvador III bilang governor ay gagana­pin sa Hulyo 2 sa Shangri-La Hotel na ina­asahang da­daluhan ng may 800 miyem­bro, bisita at dignitaries mula sa bansang Japan. Papali­tan ni Salvador si outgoing governor Connie Beltran.

Si incoming Gov. Salvador III ay ang kasalukuyang IBP president, Quezon City chapter at nagsisilbing partner at head ng environmental law department ng pres­tihiyosong law firm na “Ro­mulo, Mabanta, Bue­na­ventura, Sayoc and De los Angeles”. Siya ay kinilala bilang bar reviewer at pro­pesor ng Remedial Law sa Ateneo, FEU, UE, San Se­bastian College at PLM.

Bilang charter member ng Rotary Club of Malate, Ma­nila, si Salvador ay naihalal na Charter President noong Rotary year 2001-2002 na nagtala bilang Rookie year kasunod ng paghawak nito ng maraming posisyon. 

Ipinagmamalaki din ni Salvador na tanging ang RC Malate sa pumumuno ni Legacy president Mercy Ong ang kinilala sa buong mundo matapos na tumanggap ng award sa Rotary International bilang ‘Most outstanding club in membership development sa Burmingham, England noong 2009.
