Tropical depression nga posibleng mapormang super typhoon, gitutokan

CEBU, Philippines - Dunay gitutokanng tropical depression ang weather bureau PAGASA sa sidlakang bahin sa Mindanao nga posibleng mosulod sa Philippine area of responsibility sa sunod semana.

Nagdala kini og maximum winds nga 45 kilometers kada oras, duol sa tunga, haguros nga moabot 55 kilometers kada oras ug nag-irog padung sa amihana sa gipaspason nga 20 kilometers kada oras.

“A former low pressure area outside [PAR] has now officially transitioned into a tropical cyclone... We expect that it will continue to strengthen in the coming days while in the middle of the ocean,” matud ni Estareja atol sa PAGASA’s morning forecast.

“We also do not discount the possibility of it its further intensification into a typhoon or supertyphoon,” pasidaan pa niya.
