Lauis Ledge pabutangan sa Talisay City og Parola

CEBU, Philippines - Konseho sa siyudad sa Talisay mipasar og resolusyon nga nag-awhag sa Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC) sa pagbutang na gyud og parola sa Lauis Ledge.

Diha sa maong lugar nagkabangga ang cargo vessel nga M/V Sulpicio Express Siete ug passenger vessel nga M/V Saint Thomas De Aquinas diin kapin sa 100 ang nakalas.

Ang konseho sa Talisay mipalabang kagahapon og resolusyon pagpabutang og parola diha sa Lauis Ledge sa barangay Tanke, Talisay. Gipangamahanan kini ni Konsehal Antonio Bacaltos Jr., ang chairman sa committee on environment sa konseho sa siyudad.

Si Bacaltos mihangyo sa Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC) pinaagi ni Cabinet Secretary Florencio “Butch” Abad sa Department of Budget and  Management sa pagtukod og parola diha sa Lauis Ledge aron malikayan ang laing aksidente pang mahitabo diha sa lugar.

“Article IV of Republic Act. 8979 states that the City of Talisay adopt measures to protect its inhabitants on harmful effects of man-made or natural disasters and calamities and provide relief services and assistance for victims,”  tipik sa resolusyon ni Bacaltos.Matud ni Bacaltos nga aron malikayan ang laing aksidente kinahanglan nga butangan og parola ang nahisgutang lugar.

“Having a light house within the territorial boundaries of the City of Talisay will be a deterrent for an occurrence of sea accident in the territorial waters of the City of Talisay like recently happened on August 16, 2013,” tipik sa resolusyon ni Bacaltos. (BANAT NEWS)
