BANGKOK (Xinhua) - Shooting and bomb attacks occurred at an anti-government protest site in east Thailand's Trat province on late Saturday night, leaving 41 people injured, local media reported Sunday.
It is believed that the attackers came from outside the province, Trat protesters' spokesman Suwicharn Suwannakha was quoted by the Nation newspaper as saying.
Local people are believe to be supportive of the rally and therefore would not hurt the protesters, Suwicharn said.
