Cebu FC shoots for second straight home win
CEBU, Philippines — The Cebu FC Gentle Giants hope to make it back-to-back victories at home when they take on the National Youth Team in the Philippines Football League (PFL) Season 2024-2025 today (Wednesday, February 12) at the Dynamic Herb-Borromeo Sports Complex in South Road Properties (SRP).
Game time is set at 6 p.m.
The Gentle Giants are coming off a 3-1 drubbing of Mendiola FC 1991 that vaulted them to third place in the standings with 17 points on their 5-2-2 win-loss-draw record.
After tackling the Nationals, Cebu FC will collide against the Manila Digger FC on February 22 still at its turf.
It’s expected to be a grudge rematch as the Gentle Giants are seeking payback at the Manila Digger, which handed them their first defeat in the first round.
The Manila Digger currently occupies the second spot in the leaderboard with 21 points on its 27-2 slate. – EBV
