Vilma to start movie with Kim in October
MANILA, Philippines – Batangas Governor Vilma Santos is set to start the filming of “The Healing” with Kim Chiu next month.
“We start shooting in October and may paalam na rin yan sa mga constituents ko pero siguro by next year na iyon ipapalabas,” Vilma said during the presscon of Bear Brand “Laki sa Gatas” nutrition education advocacy this afternoon.
The governor shared that although she is happy being a public servant, doing movies will always have a special place in her heart.
“(Although) medyo sa third (priority) na napunta ang showbiz career ko, happy na rin po ako. Kuntento na ako sa ganoon, na so far nararamdaman ko pa rin yung pagmamahal sa akin ng publiko, kung saan mayroon akong malaking utang na loob pag pinagusapan na ang aking paga-artista,” she said.
Vi added that she is looking forward in doing this project because she will be working on a new material and promising young artists.
“I’m excited na makakapagshooting na naman ako ulit, bago na namang chemistry (with Kim). Naalala ko yung “Anak” noong kami ni Claudine. Ang dami ko ng nagawang pelikula so kung gagawa rin lang ako ng pelikula once in two years, pumili na talaga ako ng gusto ko at alam kong may maibibigay akong bago,” she said.
