WATCH: And the happiest country in the world is...
MANILA, Philippines — Of the 155 countries surveyed in the World Happiness Report for 2017, one country came out on top and unseated Denmark from last year's rankings.
In the latest World Happiness Report for 2017, Sustainable Development Solutions Network for the United Nations listed Norway as the happiest country in the world.
The report meanwhile, ranked the Philippines at 72 out of the 155 countries.

The countries were ranked based on six factors: GDP per capita, healthy life expectancy, freedom to make life choices, generosity, social support and absence of corruption in both the government and businesses.
Sustainable Development Solutions Network Director Jeffrey Sachs said that a goal of the yearly index is to urge countries to appoint ministers of happiness to watch over the well-being of their citizens. — Video by Buzz 60; Text by Kristian Javier
