In 4 provinces 4Ps of DSWD-7 attain 99.05% CCT releases

TAGBILARAN CITY, Philippines  — The Department of Social Welfare and Development-Region 7, in cooperation with other agencies concerned and local government units, has scored 99.05 percent in terms of releases of conditional cash transfer (CCT) to targeted beneficiaries in four provinces of the region.

Total CCT releases to a total of 30,297 household-beneficiaries, under the Pamilyang Pantawid Pilipino Program (4Ps), have amounted to P957,531,800, which is 99.05 percent of the P966,752,400, total allocation, according to the data released by the DSWD-7, as of last October 22.

Siquijor province attained 99.99 percent with its total CCT releases of P11,335,000 for its 341 household-beneficiaries, followed by Bohol with 98.75 percent releases of P219,315,800 for its 8,680 households.

Negros Oriental accomplished 98.93 percent, with P290,486,600 released to 2,567 households, while Cebu hit 98.75 percent, or a total of P436,950,600 for 18,709 households.

The CCTs releases were made through the cash card system, Land Bank of the Philippines-OTC, G-Remit, PhilPostal Bank, First Consolidated Bank and Rural Bank.

DSWD also hit the 98 percent success in terms of region-wide coverage — four provinces; 16 congressional districts; 116 municipalities; and 2,941 out of 3,003 barangays covered by 4Ps. (FREEMAN)
