OUT WITH THE OLD. A woman who was cleaning her closet as part of the New Year preparations came upon a small fortune; more than P5,000 in old bills she had squirreled away in an envelope.
She took them to the Central Bank, hoping they would be changed for new bills, but the bank said the deadline was way past for that particular series of bills.
“Sayanga oy, maka-noche Buena unta to,” she told The EAR.
