WELL-KNOWN. Mamasapano, the town in Maguindanao where 44 PNP-SAF troopers fell is now a well-known place, albeit disgraceful. A vegetable and fruit trader from Baguio kept shaking his head as he listened to TV news repeatedly mentioning Mamasapano.
UKNOWN. The trader told an Ear informer that his town, Tublay, in the Mountain Province has been the source of fruits and vegetables for Metro Manila markets for many years but “only a few who eat our fruits know where Tublay is,” the trader said.
