A Cebuano landowner from Mindanao who happened to be in Cebu during the Pacquiao-Algieri fight said during dinner with friends that he was sure Pacman would win and wagered P10,000 on the Cebuano boxer. But our Ear informer said the landowner lost P5,000 on a side bet where he said Algieri could not win a single round. "Unfortunately for him Algieri won one single round," our informer said. That cost him P5,000.
NEVER LOST. This Cebuano landowner, a casino frequenter, here or abroad said he never lost a bet on Pacquiao. "Kadto pa ko napilde," he told our Ear informer.
