EXPIRED. A housewife residing in Banilad called up The Ear to report that the six boxes of cheddar cheese she bought from a downtown supermarket carried an expiry date that was already just a few days to expiration. All six boxes were stamped: "Best before 14 June 14." She said by the time she'd be able to consume the cheese she had purchased all of them would've already expired.
SUGGESTION. The housewife-caller said that marketers or vendors of food products owe it to the consumers to check the expiry dates of their products from time to time. "Ug mas maayo tingali nga ang government agency concerned maoy mo-order kanila to do the checking," she said.
