WATERWORLD. Last Sunday a local network aired a show where a comedian made light of the flood situation in Metro Manila. The comedian put on many different costumes and posed in, out and around floodwaters in different places under inundation. It was as if to say even natural disasters are "more fun in the Philippines".
A SEA OF BACTERIA. However, many also said the program should not have been aired, reasoning that it encouraged others to play in the floodwaters. "Hugaw gud na, gikan gud na sa canal. Naa gud na hugaw sa tawo, naa sad ihi. Unya adto sila maghigda-higda?" a television viewer commented.
