FLOODS. Everytime it rains, even if not in torrents, it floods in certain areas of the city. A UN official says in many cities of Asia, some local officials have stopped finding ways to stop the floods. What they do now is find ways to protect their citizenry from getting drowned.

In some cities like those in Japan and South Korea, residents of flood prone areas are supplied free life saving devices including life jackets, life rafts and even rowboats. “Maybe we can learn something from them,†a member of Safe Philippines said. “Since nature's floods could not be stopped.â€
