CEBU, Philippines - A 33-year-old laundry woman was locked up in jail after she was caught sneaking shabu at the Mandaue City Jail last Sunday afternoon.
Lolit Comayas, a resident of Purok Agbate, Barangay Cambaro, Mandaue City, is currently detained at Opao Police Station when a woman jail guard of Mandaue City Jail found a small plastic packet believed to be shabu in the heel of her left foot pasted through a band-aid.
The said illegal drug was found during an inspection, which is a standard operating procedure among all visitors in the jail.
Comayas alleged that her live-in partner Lency Ermac, 39, requested her to bring him the illegal drug. The couple has eight children.
The city jail management has already prepared a case against the suspect for violation of Section 11, Article II of R.A. 9165 or the Possession of Illegal Drugs Act of 2002. (FREEMAN)
