CEBU, Philippines - A 26-year-old man stabbed and wounded Sunday afternoon his 17-year-old nephew in Purok Star Apple in barangay Umapad, Mandaue City because he was allegedly also in love with the juvenile’s girlfriend.
Prior to the stabbing, an allegedly drunk Alexander Villamor and the juvenile quarreled while on their way home presumably over the girl, PO3 Mersas Baay of the Opao police station said.
Villamor allegedly took out a fan knife and stabbed his nephew thrice on the body.
The boy screamed for help and caught his mother’s attention.
Villamor fled while the boy was taken to hospital.
Police will file frustrated homicide charge against Villamor. (FREEMAN)
