CEBU, Philippines - Talisay City Police Station officer-in-charge Superintendent Resty Santos yesterday said fraternities have been silent for quite some time now and the police don’t expect any hostilities between now and October 15 when the city celebrates its annual fiesta in honor of patron St. Teresa de Avila.
The celebration started last October 1.
Santos said policemen have been assigned to areas where activities are held.
Aside from the police, members of the Barangay Intelligence Network also comb areas frequented by a lot of people.
