CEBU, Philippines - A man had his live-in partner arrested early dawn yesterday for setting fire to their house in sitio Balanghoy, barangay Gun-ob, Lapu-Lapu City.
Arrested was one Lycelle Dayanan, 34.
Eduardo Mangubat told police that Dayanan put a match to the house at 2:20 dawn yesterday while he and their two children were sleeping.
Mangubat admitted having quarreled with Dayanan earlier.
When he felt the heat, he immediately got up to stop the fire from spreading.
Mangubat filed an arson case against Dayanan. (FREEMAN)
