CEBU, Philippines - Police arrested a man facing nine counts of rape in sitio Soong, barangay Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City the other day.
Arrested was Edgar Paduga, of legal age, and a resident of Soong.
The police went to Paduga’s residence and served him an arrest warrant as soon as they learned he had returned home after hiding for months.
Paduga is accused of having raped a woman nine times since last year.
He was presented to court for confirmation of his arrest. (FREEMAN)
