CEBU, Philippines - An alleged drug pusher was arrested by the operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-7 in a buy-bust operation Monday afternoon in barangay Cabulihan, Toledo City.
Arrested and now detained at the PDEA-7 stockade is Necipuro Baklaan, 43, of barangay Cabulihan.
He was arrested at around 1:00 in the afternoon.
The alleged shabu seized from Baklaan was allegedly worth around P1,000.
This was taken to the Philippine National Police Crime Laboratory-7 in Camp Sotero Cabahug for analysis.
PDEA agents also found a list of alleged remittances made by Baklaan’s cohorts.
PDEA classifies Baklaan as someone who could dispose of more than 200 grams of shabu in a week.
He is also considered as one of the big-time suppliers of illegal drugs in the city and nearby towns.
Charges are being readied against Baklaan. –(FREEMAN)
