CEBU, Philippines - More than 10 persons have been arrested in violation of the Comelec gun ban, police provincial director Senior Superintendent Patrocinio Comendador said.
The Comelec gun ban took effect January 13.
Comendador, who visited at the Talisay City Police Station yesterday morning, said that since the implementation of the Comelec gun ban police in the province have arrested more than 10 violators.
Aside from it, Comendador said more than 500 firearms were confiscated last year. (FREEMAN)
