Ginebra guns for 3-1 lead, TNT eyes equalizer

CEBU, Philippines —  The Barangay Ginebra Gin Kings and the TNT Tropang 5G will carry a different mission heading into Game 4 of the best-of-seven PBA Season 50 Commissioner’s Cup Finals today (Wednesday, June 10) at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.

Ginebra shoots for a commanding 3-1 lead while TNT seeks the equalizer.

The Gin Kings regain control of the series  with a two games to one advantage after zapping TNT, 116-102, in Game 3 last Sunday, June 7.

Now, the Gin Kings will try to move a win away from the crown.

But they must brace for a one big battle as the Tropa will surely fight to the death to avoid falling into a deep 3-1 hole.

Before the Ginebra-TNT tussle, the Best Player of the Conference and Best Import will be announced.

Ginebra’s RJ Abarrientos and Justin Brownlee are the front-runners for the awards. — (FREEMAN)
