MANILA, Philippines — Eight Cebuano kids, aged four to six years old, will be representing the Philippines in the M8 International Pushbike Championships 2023 slated on March 3-5 at the Velodrome in Johor, Malaysia.
They are Rhaegar Santimari Cabahug and Kendra Cabahug of Looc, Mandaue City, Mavis Jayden Dumdum of Bakilid, Mandaue City, Amber Mae Quimque of Calawisan, Lapu-Lapu City, Cole Damian Abellar and Mia Ysabelle Abellar of Tisa, Cebu City, Timothy Jon Mendoza of Pusok, Lapu-Lapu City, and Kalon Venus Boholst Torrefranca of Inayawan, Cebu City.
Their participation is special as this marks for the first time that the country will be competing in the international competition since its inception eight years ago.
Under the guidance of their trainer Keken Cabahug of Team KC46, they will be competing against over a hundred young pushbikers from host Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore. — EBV
