Deftac Cebu to hold free BJJ clinic

CEBU, Philippines - Martial arts enthusiasts will get a glimpse of what Brazilian Jiu-jitsu training is like as Deftac Cebu, the first BJJ academy in Cebu, conducts a free beginners’ clinic tomorrow night at the 2nd floor of CrossFit Pintados Bldg., eZone Paseo in F. Cabahug Street, this city.

The free clinic is open to both men and women ages 12-year-old and above with little to no experience in BJJ. The two-hour clinic starts at 5:30 p.m.

The class will be handled by two of Cebu’s highly decorated BJJ competitors and instructors in Keeno Jingco and Jasmine Cuizon.

Brazilian Jiu-jitsu is one of the fastest growing martial arts in the world that consists of joint locks, chokes, and ground self defense. It is a self defense system that focuses on grappling and ground fighting.
