Team Triathlon Championship Series set March 29

CEBU, Philippines - The organizers of the Team Triathlon Championship Series will again adopt the age classification when it kicks off its 2015 edition in Santa Fe, Bantayan Island on March 29.

In 2014, Sugbutriathlon classified the participants according to their level of skills, but it seems that that local triathletes are not yet ready for it.

For this year's action, the standard distance will have five age-brackets for male entries:-29-under, 30-34, 35-39, 40-49 and 50-above. The females will have the 29-under, 30-39, and 40-above.

The sprint distance, on the other hand, will have the male and female open and relay competition.

Kids will have fun anew as a separate division is in place for them featuring the boys and girls 8-under, 9-10, 11-12, and 13-15.

After Santa Fe, the series will have its next stop in Ronda on September 13, before winding up in Ormoc on October 4.

Registration for the first leg is now going on at The Brick located at JP Morgan Building in Cebu IT Park and SATS Office across Gaisano Ground Mall in Talamban.

Entry fee for the early birds is pegged at P2,000 for the standard division, P1,800 for the sprint and P1,500 for each member in the relay team and in the kiddie tri.
