CCSC to send top bets in GenSan for World 10-ball tilt
CEBU, Philippines - The Cebu City Sports Commission through its commissioner Lorenzo “Chao” Sy will be sending two Cebuano cue masters to the World 10-Ball Championships 2015 that coincides with the 3rd MP Cup International 10-Ball Doubles on February 17-26 at SM City-General Santos.
Sy said Ruben Cuna and Boots Augusto will be accompanied by Allan Cortes, owner of Jancor Billiards Center, in their quest for glory in one of the most pretigious billiards tournament in the world.
It will be a tough order though for Cuna and Augusto as they go up against the world’s best players in the week-long tournament that offers P40,000 to the champion.
On the other hand, 2015 Sinulog Cup champion Anton Raga and Eljun Abellana will have to go through a final qualifying phase in an effort to join Cuna and Augusto in their GenSan trip. — (FREEMAN)
