8th PPBC X-Mas hoopla takes off Monday
CEBU, Philippines - A total of 13 teams will see action in the 8th Punta Princesa Barangay Council Christmas League set to kick off on Monday at the Atillo gym in Barangay Punta Princesa, Cebu City.
The contending squads JS Contractor (Mawin's), Glyn Construction and Supply (RAV), IBSI-Unique, RCAF, Skybar, A-Top, D-Team, B & G, Blessyl, AC Sports, Binglens, D & L sportswear, and Kitz team.
They will play in a single round robin format in the elimination, will the top four advancing into the crossover semifinals. The winners will then clash for the championship.
Aside from trophies, the champion will receive P5,000, while the second and third will pocket P3,000 and P2,000, respectively.
The league's year-ending tournament is fully supported by Punta Princesa's chief executive Joe Navarro and the entire barangay council.— EBV (FREEMAN)
