NM Hardware routs Las Vegas KTV in CECABA cagesfest

CEBU, Philippines - New Millennium Hardware '95 is back to its winning ways, coming up with a 65-49 demolition of Las Vegas KTV-M16 Disco '94 in the Cebu Eastern College Alumni Basketball Association's 12th Dr. Chen Lieh Fu Memorial Cup at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.

Donald Anthony Ting fired 31 points on top of four rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks as Class '95 stayed at second place with a 7-1 win-loss card.

Dean Dy Teves added 12 points, nine rebounds and four blocks, while Joseph James Yu chipped in eight points, five assists and three rebounds for Class '95, which pounded Class '94 quarter after quarter on the way to a 16-point rout.

Wellington Yu finished with 14 points, nine rebounds and two steals, while Stanley Gaw tossed in 13 points, nine rebounds and two assists but could not prevent Class '94 from absorbing its fourth loss against the same number of wins.

Earlier, Dannel Greg Hayag tallied 24 points, five assists, four steals and four rebounds, while Joseph Aljhune Areja added 23 points, nine rebounds, four assists and four steals as Best World Lifestyle outlasted 3R Audio '98, 81-77, in the first overtime game of the season.

Rodney Lindimar Co added 17 points, five rebounds and four steals for Class 2004, which notched its second win in three starts, while dropping Class '98 to 4-5. (FREEMAN)
