Colonnade Kiddies and Ladies chessfest this weekend
CEBU, Philippines - In line with the Cebu City Charter Anniversary celebration, the Cebu Chess Association (CCA) will be staging the 2013 Colonnade Mall Kiddies and Ladies Open Chess Tournament this weekend at the Activity Center of the said mall situated along Colon Street, this city.
Cash prizes will be given away to the top performers of the two-day tilt that follows a 7-round Swiss system format.
The top three finishers in both categories will each receive P1,200, P800 and P600, respectively, while the fourth placers will take home P400 apiece.
The organizers will be accepting on-site registration through international arbiter Marvin Ruelan from 10 to 10:30 am today.
