USC bags 3 titles in Sinulog bootfest

CEBU, Philippines - The University of San Carlos (USC) booters have their hands full after wresting three titles at the end of the 3rd Sinulog Football Festival played in separate venues yesterday.

USC-A snared the premiere men’s open crown after pounding out a 5-0 win over the early favorites

the final round after eking out a 2-1 victory over Panalpina.

USC's female counterparts also clinched the women's tiara after scoring a 1-0 triumph over D’Ladies squad. USC bagged its third plum via the 18-under division after it upended Sacred Heart School-Ateneo

de Cebu, 2-0.

SHS-AdC, on the other hand, has something else to celebrate after topping the 11-under division as it also

dominated the girls 15-undercategory courtesy of a 1-0 win against San Roque FC via penalty shootout.

The likes of Abellana National School-Pomeroy, Paref-Springdale, Don Bosco Razkals, Innodata, and Canduman got a title each.

ANS ruled the boys 18- under, while Paref- Springdale lorded it over in the 15-under battle.

The DB Razkals silenced SHS-AdC, 1-0, to rule the 7-under class, while Lahug-A overpowered its

team B, 2-0, in the 9-under final.

Innodata-A reigned supreme in the inter-BPO division at the expense of their sister squad, Innodata-

B,3-2 via shootout.

Canduman ruled the boys 13 class after outsmarting SHS-AdC, 5-4, also via shootout.

The day ended with ERCO FC snatching the 38- above title, thanks to its 2-0 conquest of Queen City
