CEBU, Philippines – To address the lack of transportation to and from the Mactan Cebu International Airport this holiday season, SM City will launch today a special bus service from the airport to the mall’s premises at the North Reclamation Area, and vice-versa.
MCIA Assistant General Manager Ahmed Cuizon relayed this to The FREEMAN in a text message, adding that fare is at P25 per passenger.
SM, he said, will use three of its MyBus fleet that will serve the MCIA-SM route from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily until January 6, 2016.
He said the pick-up/drop-off points are at the airport’s Domestic Arrival road and at SM’s public utility jeepney terminal.
The service is made available with the cooperation of the MCIA Authority, GMR-Megawide Cebu Airport Corporation, and the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board-7. —/RHM (FREEMAN)
