CEBU, Philippines - A tanod of Barangay Gun-ob, Lapu-Lapu City arrested a man he found sleeping naked with his daughter at their house dawn yesterday.
Both are 19 years old.
PO2 Filipina Branzuela of the Women and Children’s Protection Desk of the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office said the girl and her female friend went to the guy’s house last Thursday night where they drank alcohol.
When the girl got drunk, she reportedly asked to go home so the guy and her female friend brought her to her house. The female friend reportedly left ahead and the girl was left alone with the guy.
The father was on duty at that time.
Branzuela said the girl told her during interview that the man took her clothes off slowly and positioned himself on top of her.
When the father arrived at around 4 a.m., he saw the two lying naked beside each other in the living room. Surprised to see the girl’s father, the man reportedly dressed hurriedly and fled to his house. He was arrested later for rape allegations but he did not issue any statement.
