Riding-in-tandem shoots 24-year-old man
CEBU, Philippines - A 24-year-old man was shot dead by two men riding in tandem in Sitio Plaza, Barangay Apas, Cebu City Friday evening.
Daveward Cabahug went out from their house to buy from a nearby store where he was invited by some men who were drinking to take a shot.
PO1 John Erick Samosa of the Cebu City Police Office Homicide Section said that Cabahug took the offer.
Samosa added that Cabahug’s assailants then passed by the store and immediately shot him.
Cabahug reportedly tried to run but fell to the ground. The men shot the victim again twice in the head before they escaped. Cabahug succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds.
Responding team of the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation led by Joy Tuling found Cabahug unresponsive.
Recovered from the scene were eight empty shells and three slugs of a .45 caliber pistol.
The police are conducting a follow-up operation on the incident. (FREEMAN)
