CEBU, Philippines - Police Regional Office-7 director, Chief Supt. Danilo Constantino, has advised Cebu City Police Office director Noli Romana to improve his presentation for the Performance Governance System (PGS) before leaving for Manila on March 26.
The regional police director expressed hope that the presentation of the CCPO director would be developed further and better to earn a higher rating in the PGS.
Camp Crame earlier gave a Golden Eagle Award to PRO-7 for being a top notch office in the PGS with a total score of 98.13 percent overall rating.
The Lapu-Lapu City Police Office, on the other hand, earned a Silver Eagle Award with an overall rating of 95 percent.
Following these achievements, Constantino said he does not want Romana to fail in his presentation. He cited that it could be possible that a police chief will be relieved in his post if he fails twice.
He explained that each city police office has a “dashboard†wherein the target accomplishments and corresponding funds needed to achieve such targets are laid out.
He added that an effective presentation of a police chief would determine if he has been able to realize the projects and reach its goals. He said that Romana, for his part, has set lower targets in terms of the community programs to be implemented by CCPO.
Constantino further shared that upon his evaluation, Romana’s initial presentation still needs to be improved, thus requesting him to coordinate with Lapu-Lapu Sr. Supt. Rey Lyndon Lawas with the matter.
Based on its outstanding performance in PGS, PRO-7 currently holds the record for earning the highest rating a police regional office could attain. (FREEMAN)
