CEBU, Philippines - All over Metro Cebu, independent coffee shops seem to be changing the ‘coffee game’, in a market dominated by major coffee-shop chains. These indie coffee shops try harder in the service they render, and strive to deliver a more creative approach to coffee.
In the city’s downtown area, Q Café – the Coffee Shop Brand of Golden Prince Hotel and Suites – is changing the coffee game. The downtown branch, which has just recently opened, is located at Golden Valley Hotel, along Pelaez Street (beside USC Law Bldg.). The coffee shop intends to give a new twist to enjoying coffee in the old downtown district.
Q Cafe is a practical cost-saving alternative to the expensive international brands. Not only does it offer a modish and relaxing ambiance, it serves the best coffee at an affordable price.
Toff Perater, coffee ambassador and cafe supervisor, prepares coffee like it’s a work of art. Each cup is carefully done and expertly crafted to ensure great “quality” in every sip. Perater particularly recommends their Matcha Pistachio Cooler, which is best paired with Aglio Olio Pasta with Beef Salpicao.
Coffee lovers may now enjoy their favorite brews at Q Cafe. It is open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Its social media account is @ILoveQCafe on Instagram. (FREEMAN)
