Spanish fashion brand opens in Cebu

CEBU, Philippines – The Spanish fashion brand Sfera now has three stores in the Philippines. Two are Metro Manila – at the SM Store Makati and at the SM Megamall – and another one has just opened at SM Seaside City Cebu.

On the occasion of the Cebu store opening, Sfera Middle East & Asia Sfera Product Manager Orestes Navazo led the ribbon-cutting. Joining him were Paz Perdices, wife to the Spanish Consul in Cebu, and philanthropist and fashion icon Amparito Lhuillier.

“Cebu is becoming a strategic city for opening up fashion brands in the Philippines,” said Mr. Navazo. “Companies invest a lot in Cebu [on] new developments. And customers love the new SM Seaside City Cebu; they always want to be at ‘the place to be’. Sfera would do well to be located in this mall.”

Cebu’s fashionable set took the first dibs on Sfera’s latest collection, enjoying well-priced yet stylish fashion finds. One key to the brand’s success is its weekly stock updates at the stores, according to Navazo. He also emphasized keeping up with new trends, and being accessible to customers – both in terms of location and price. “We make sure we give them a good deal with quality clothing,” he said.

The brand’s international website is at www.sfera.eu. The social media accounts are @sfera_ph (#SferaPH) on Instagram, and  SFERA Philippines on Facebook.
